Kayla McKinney is a passionate and versatile art educator with 16 years of experience, currently in her second year at Florence. She teaches Photo 1, Advanced Photography, Art 3, and AP Art, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to her classroom every day.

A dedicated advocate for arts education, Kayla is a member of the Alabama Art Education Association and serves as Co-Chair of the Artistic Renderings of Youth Art Show. Coming from a family of crafters, she has always been immersed in making and creating. She loves all forms of art and embraces every discipline, making teaching the perfect fit for her.

Kayla holds a Master’s in Art Education from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in Art Education from UNA, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to inspire the next generation of artists.
