Hello! My name is Keziah “Kezzie” Elliott and I am so excited to begin my second year of teaching! I taught kindergarten last year and this is my first year at W.C. Handy. I was born in Athens, Alabama, and came to Florence for college. I graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (P-3) in 2020. I currently live with my gray tabby named Rosie. Teaching is my passion and I strive to make my classroom safe, happy, and a place for my students to learn and grow. I believe in teaching the whole child and using conscious discipline. This year is going to be extraordinary.
