I’m Mrs. Johnson and I am so excited to be your child’s Lead Classroom teacher! This will be the beginning of my 3rd year at W.C. Handy! I have taught Kindergarten in another school system as well!  I hold a Masters and Bachelors in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. My husband is Nathan, my daughter is Emma (14) and is a Freshman in high school. My son is Jackson (20) and he is a Junior at Alabama! Roll Tide! I love to read, travel, and I really enjoy the beach.  I absolutely love children and it is important to me that when we are planning activities for your child that we consider the whole child. This provides optimal learning for your child! It is going to be a great year and I am looking forward to the adventures we will have together in Pre-K!
