In cooperation with the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) and the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), Florence City Schools participated in the Lead in School Drinking Water Testing Program. During the time period of September 10-13, 2019, all Florence City School facilities were sampled according to ADEM guidelines. Those samples were analyzed by Pace Analytical Services, LLC, of Tuscaloosa, AL. All of the samples collected were well below the lead action level of 0.020 mg/L.
