If variety is the spice of life, then my teaching career is quite flavorful.  Since my first professional placement in December of 2000, I’ve worked across two states and covered grades from kindergarten through eighth grade.  My roles included general education teacher, inclusion teacher, special education interventions, special education resource for autism and behavioral needs, teaching special education in the virtual world for grades K-6 through the Covid-19 pandemic and teaching fifth grade math and science. Currently, I'm teaching sixth grade math and science. My family moved to North Alabama shortly before I started teaching at Hibbett  in January 2014. It’s a true honor to be a part of such a supportive school community that puts children first to prepare them for their lives into higher education and/or career pathways. Teaching is an adventure that I've always enjoyed! Go Falcons!
