Welcome!

My name is Kaitlyn Scott and I am a third grade teacher at Weeden Elementary School. My education towards receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education began in 2015 when I graduated from Lawrence County High School in Moulton, Alabama. I then attended the University of North Alabama for four and a half years, where I graduated in December of 2019 with honors and received my teaching certificate. Since then, I have taught two years in second grade in a previous school system and now, this is my second year of teaching third grade at Weeden Elementary. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Library Media at the University of West Alabama. With all of this being said, I am proud to be a Florence Falcon and I am excited to teach the future world changers I see everyday!
