I am a native of Alabama. My family lives on a farm where I spend most of our free time enjoying farm life with my husband and daughter.

I have a Master's degree from Auburn University in Biological Sciences where I studied plant and insect interactions. I developed my love of teaching by working with dedicated and passionate professors at Auburn University. I also completed my Educational Specialist Degree in Teacher Leader from the University of North Alabama in 2017.

I joined FMS in 2006 and I teach life science and love to talk to students about the world around them. I feel honored to work with such amazing and dedicated teachers who truly care about the education and development of our students.
