Hi!

I'm Anna Wooten, and I have been teaching middle school English since 2011. I have always worked with middle schoolers, and I really cannot imagine myself anywhere else. I love this age group, even though some may consider me crazy! I feel that teaching is my gift, call, and passion. I'm excited about my new role for the 2021-2022 school year as the English Academic Coach. Our ELA department is wonderful, and I'm really fortunate to work alongside them to best serve our students. 

I have been married to my husband, Spencer, for ten years. We have two precious boys, Turner (6) and Rhoads (4). We love living in Florence, and Turner will be a new little falcon in kindergarten this year. I love traveling, reading, exercising, and spending time with my family. I cannot wait to build relationships and serve your students this year!
