My name is Jeanna Finley and I am proud to be a 4th-grade teacher at Harlan Elementary School. I am originally from Southern Illinois, but love living in Northern Alabama. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Greenville College which is now Greenville University. In December, I should graduate from UNA with my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. This year will be my fourth year working as a 4th grade teacher at Harlan Elementary School. Prior to teaching Fourth Grade, I taught Kindergarten, Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade, Seventh Grade, and Eighth Grade. 

I have a true passion for working with 4th graders. Watching and helping to cultivate each child academically, socially, and emotionally. Although 4th grade is can be full of challenges, I know that as a class family we can overcome those challenges and be victorious. I strive to create a family environment that is nurturing and helps the children to grow in a positive, motivating, enjoyable environment. 

Personally, I have been married for 19 years and have three amazing children who are 23, 18, and 14 years old.  We love listening to the marching band and watching football and baseball. I enjoy cooking, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with my family.
