Hello! I'm Riley Killen and I am the 3rd and 4th Grade Resource Teacher at Weeden Elementary School. I have been with Weeden for three years now and I enjoy this community so much! My role within the school is to provide foundational academic assistance in a small group setting for my students through their Individualized Education Plans or IEPs. My goal is to "meet students where they are" academically and give them the help they need in order to be successful in the future. I graduated from the University of North Alabama in December of 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-6 with a concentration in Special Education Collaborative Teaching. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Special Education. I am soon-to-be-married to my best friend Sydney! We live here in Florence with our two cats and enjoy hiking, watching movies, kayaking, and playing golf.
