Growing up in Florence, I attended Forest Hills and Bradshaw High School. I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and began my teaching career at Franklin Elementary School before moving back to Florence in 1992. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and hold two graduate degrees from the University of North Alabama.
I married my high school sweetheart in 1989 and we have three young adult children, all graduates of Florence High School. We are grateful to live in the Shoals among family and friends.
